Visual Guidelines
Pleo fans and owners: show your enthusiasm! UGOBE is happy to open up our copyrighted assets for your personal usage and sharing...as long as they are not used for commercial or inappropriate purposes.
It's okay by us if you...
Do whatever you want with art from our website, as well as Pleoworld badges and buttons. Add Pleoworld screenshots, photos, logos and badges to your blog, put them in your email sig or print them on a T-shirt....as long as it's just for yourself or your friends.
If you use a photo of Pleo, he should always be shown intelligently exploring his environment: investigating, interacting, and/or playing.
And if you use a Pleo or UGOBE logo, please follow UGOBE's identity usage guidelines.
When we're not okay with it....
You can't put the Pleo, Life OS or UGOBE art or logos on anything that you produce commercially. Creating a ballcap for yourself is encouraged...but it's not okay to create a t-shirt with our trademarks on a commercial website like Cafepress.com.
While you're welcome to create your own Pleo fan sites, communities, and social networking spaces online, you can't use our assets to do so. If you have a very good reason to seek permission to use our assets for these purposes - like a licensing proposal or a charity event - please contact us.
Please don't use our assets (videos, images and/or text) for pornography or sexually explicit content. Don't use them to depict animal abuse, drug abuse, or bomb making. Graphic or gratuitous violence including our assets is not okay. We also will not tolerate our assets being used in hate speech of any sort. Use good judgment when advocating for Pleo by being positive and respectful.
We do not provide high-resolution copies of our assets. If you have a good reason to request high-resolution material, please drop us a note.
Finally, don't produce modified versions of our assets. This raises the possibility of consumer confusion, dilutes our brand, and violates UGOBE's trademark rights.
Get creative!
Thanks for listening. Have fun, go forth and promote Pleo! And if you have any questions, drop us a note.
Identity Usage Guidelines
The Pleo logo was carefully designed to be simple, contemporary, and well-balanced. Please don't structurally alter it, and be sure to incorporate all its elements (the TM and the tagline). We also ask that you keep the proportions right - don't stretch and skew the logo in weird ways - and leave the colors as they are.

The Pleo and UGOBE Trademarks
The letters "TM" are used to indicate a trademark in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The Pleo logo is a trademark and should always be used with the proper trademark notice: ™.
If you use the Pleo trademark in text, be careful to distinguish the mark so that it won't be mistaken for an ordinary word:
- Use a ™ the first time you mention Pleo.
- Always use an initial capital P.
The trademark UGOBE in text form should always be all capital letters.
Questions?
You have considerable freedom to modify and create multimedia projects with our brand assets but we want to keep a consistent brand image and so everything we've talked about here is important to us and will be enforced. If you're not sure about a usage issue, just ask.
